The People’s Health Movement is organizing a workshop and a series of trainings on how to do corporate research in healthcare. Join us for one or all sessions!
Introductory workshop: January 18 2025, 1pm-3pm ET
Ever wonder why health care in your city is getting more expensive, harder to access, or less focused on patients’ needs? It’s time to follow the money and uncover how corporate executives, politicians, and other powerful players are reshaping the healthcare system behind the scenes. At PHM we’re leading efforts to uncover the truth! With tips, tricks, and tools for corporate research, PHM empowers you to track and map how corporate interest is shaping the healthcare system you and your family depend on.
By exposing what healthcare corporations don’t want you to know – the connections between rising costs, decrease access, and corporate profit – we can understand how power and money flows in the health system. Identifying the key players in the financialization of healthcare in your city can help you develop campaigns, decide on strategic actions, and make informed decisions about the policies and regulations needed to ensure that healthcare becomes a public good, not a commodity.
This training is hands-on. So, come prepared with an entity or issue you would like to dig into!
Thanks for your interest in this training!
If you or your organization would like to set up an individual session tailored to your community, please be in touch!

This training is organized by the Mapping Privatization of Health project of People’s Health Movement–North America which aims to uncover the powerful connections among corporations, private equity, and government that drive the global proliferation of privatization, financialization, and commercialization of health.
